covid 19 update woman putting on facemask

As always, the safety of Sleep Centers of Middle Tennessee patients and staff remains our top priority. We will continue requesting all patients and visitors entering any of our buildings, offices, or facilities to wear a face mask. Our staff will continue wearing face masks for your safety and protection, and we want to extend that level of safety for everyone around us.

If you do not have a mask, we can provide one to you when you check-in.

While we pride ourselves in our exceptional daily standards of cleanliness and sanitation, we have instituted additional infection prevention protocols, established by our clinical team, to further ensure the safety for all.

To continue with our health and safety protocols, our Patient Areas will:

  • Provide and encourage the use of tissues, hand sanitizers, and sanitizing wipes for patient use.
  • Encourage patients to wear a face mask. If you do not have one, we can provide one to you when you arrive.
  • Require strict adherence to CDC Guidelines for Physical Distancing in the waiting area.
  • Have assigned team members to sanitize all surfaces frequently before and after patient visits.
  • Our sleep lab staff are required to use hospital-grade disinfectants. In addition, the lab staff:
    • Disinfects all sleep equipment thoroughly after each use, using hospital-grade disinfectants.
    • Uses disposable masks for patients until further notice.
    • Frequently disinfects all surfaces in the room, as well as provides and encourages the use of tissues, hand sanitizers, and sanitizing wipes by patients.
    • Washes and sanitizes all bedding materials after each use.

Additionally, our staff:

  • Disinfects work surfaces frequently, using hospital-grade disinfectants.
  • Follows CDC guidelines for proper handwashing.
  • Continues to follow our daily safety and sanitation protocols.

If you are exhibiting COVID symptoms, we ask you to:

Our staff will work with you to ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality of care while also supporting your continued sleep health.
