Sleep Centers of Middle Tennessee
We are one of the nations leading Sleep Disorder treatment centers. With over 20 years of helping tens of thousands of patients get better rest, the trained and caring staff at the Sleep Centers continually strive to provide the latest, most effective treatments for a variety of disorders. Our convenient locations in Murfreesboro, Cool Springs, and the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic serve patients primarily in Middle Tennessee and the Nashville region, but has helped patients from all over the U.S., as well.
Why Choose Us?
We have an objectively-measured treatment compliance in our practice of over 80% (national average is between 40 and 50%), and have developed protocols that produce these results. Our protocols have been used as models by other companies.
Our insomnia program features insomnia identification, cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT), sleep hygiene and treatment, often eliminating or reducing expensive and addictive medications.
We conduct ongoing research, not only with collegiate athletes you may have read about but with ongoing compliance monitoring and the effectiveness of home-based sleep studies.
Decreasing Healthcare Costs
With combined diagnostic and treatment protocols, home-studies (where clinically indicated) and insurer reimbursement of 1/3 that of hospital-based labs, our treatment protocols provide the most economic option in the region while providing the highest standard of care.
Online Patient Monitoring
We were the first center in the country to introduce and provide beta testing for Philips Respironics with online monitoring of CPAP patients. This ongoing program is instrumental to our successful outcomes in treating sleep apnea with CPAP.
We train post doctoral fellows in our Behavioral Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program.
